How can humans transcend from their anthropomorphic way of thinking?

People try to explain the world but fail, as long as they use purely human measures to judge about the things around. Everything - even God - is humanlike. Is it possible for humans to get to know the verities of the world at all? How to abstract away from this human subjectivity and anthropocentrism. Are people helpless in trying to view the real world from the outside?
