What should I do about my Best Friend?

Okay. So I met my best friend last year in Spanish class. Ive had a crush on since a week after we met. He this year he had this girlfriend who treated him like crap. He'd go 2 me when she was being a ***** which was like everyday. Anyways this year he finally dumped her. My friends knew I had this huge crush on him and finally convinced me 2 tell him. I knew he liked me 2. But before I told him he started acting wierd. He wouldnt look at me. He stopped talking 2 me the same. After I told him we stopped talking for months. Like a month ago he started talking 2 me again. He even started smiling 2 me in the hallways again. Now Im confused. I still like him but Im not sure if he'll stop talking 2 me again. Should I talk 2 him like old times or ignore him?
